a dark sarcastic joke but true hypothetical reasoning for dog adoption over guns for protection
I seen an ad a few days ago, you know the save the dogs at the shelter ad and there was a German Shepard in it. It got me to thinking, If I ever needed protection from anything I'd buy myself one, because unlike guns, I'd be helping something. I would have a reason to care about it and even talk about it and nobody misses with you when you have one. I wouldn't need to feel like I had a mechanism of death on me and unlike conceal and carry, people know when you have a big ass dog, it makes you have this symbolic sphere that keeps trouble from happening automatically where nobody wants to screw with you, unlike a gun where the trouble has to start before you have it in your hands. A German Shepard doesn't have a trigger.
I've been practicing the George Carlin type of style with my writing recently and I think it works pretty good, I try to imitate people's personalities when I write, its something I've been trying to do and see it if works a little more because I've been trying to get my book right for a long time and I've been working off and on for a while and using comedians and things kind of lightens up horror stories. I wanted to come up with new experimental ways to write I was watching people mimicking people on vanity fair and I was like hey thats kind of an interesting concept on using the writing process get into your characters a bit lol.
I based it loosely off of this and the fact when I move I'm thinking about getting a German Shepard
