Art Direction, placement of digital structure (how I learned to steal!)
people think of tracing as stealing, but if you have a large enough paper and you trace that item and move it and trace more with different placement it gives it narrative. A narrative breaks away from the copyright and every artist traces regardless if the image is present. you draw a tree, a tree already exists, you draw a dog well that exists too. The world is traceable so it gives more meaning to the idea that tracing and copying isn't wrong, it's all about placement, thats where the term true artists steal and the Beatles sing "nothing you can do, can't be done." Personal liberty makes it the individual, project, thats why we shouldn't hate a tracer because their few steps away from placement and making it their own.
